Stoke City's Bet365 stadium hosted a historic U15 national cup final win for the Glenmoor Girls U15s, defeating St Joseph's RC Academy 3-1. The match took place on May 21, with the Glenmoor Girls U15s making history as the first team from Glenmoor & Winton Academies to win a national final. The team's captain, Izzy Smith, was honoured with the Player of the Match award, contributing significantly from midfield. The squad are all part of the Glenmoor Football Academy and have attributed their success to years of hard work, dedication and commitment. Around 100 staff, students, and parents travelled from Bournemouth to Stoke to support the team. Their cheers punctuated the match's closing scenes, as the girls celebrated their remarkable achievement. The Glenmoor Girls U15s celebrated a 3-1 victory against St Joseph's RC Academy, with goals from Millie Ray, Ella Burgess, and a penalty by Alex Smith.
