Four Stoke City fans have been charged with public order offences following violent clashes after the club's away match at Wolverhampton Wanderers. The disorder erupted in Wolverhampton city centre on Lichfield Street after Wolves' 4-1 victory at Molineux on 29 August. West Midlands Police have now released CCTV images of four further men they wish to identify in connection with the incident. Five men were arrested in total, with four subsequently charged. All four accused were released on bail and are due to appear at Dudley Magistrates' Court later this month. Their bail conditions explicitly ban them from attending football matches and from entering the city centre. The police investigation into the post-match violence, which involved fighting between groups and objects being thrown, remains active. A police spokesperson appealed directly to the public for information. "Recognise any of these men? We’d like to speak to them about disorder after a Wolverhampton Wanderers match," the spokesperson said. Videos of the confrontations circulated widely on social media in the aftermath. The incident followed a heavy defeat for Stoke, a result that stands in stark contrast to their current form. Steven Schumacher's side have since climbed to 7th in the Championship with 13 points from eight games, embarking on a run of four wins and a draw in their last five matches. The next challenge is an away trip to face Bolton Wanderers on 10 October. The four charged individuals will face court proceedings this month.
