Stoke City are eyeing Wrexham winger Ryan Longman as a potential signing before the transfer deadline on 1 September. The 25-year-old, who has made 63 appearances for the Red Dragons, could bring versatility to the Potters' back-line.
Why Longman?
Longman can operate as a wing-back or push higher up the flank, offering Mark Robins a flexible option in attack and defence. His experience in the Championship, having helped Wrexham gain promotion from League One in his first season, makes him a shrewd addition for a club that has already spent heavily on recruitment.
Contract Situation
The Surrey-born player is out of contract with Wrexham in June 2027, but the club holds an option to extend his stay by 12 months. He joined Wrexham in January 2025 after a product of the Brighton and Hove Albion academy, with a brief first-team appearance for the Seagulls and loan spells at AFC Wimbledon and Hull City.
