Stoke City's Divin Mubama is enjoying a successful loan spell with the Potters, scoring five goals in 26 appearances for the Championship club. The 21-year-old striker joined Stoke City from Manchester City in July and has impressed with his performances. Mubama has started 20 games for Stoke City and has also scored a hat-trick in a home win against Bristol City in November. He has played for England from every age group from under-15s upwards and has five goals in five matches for the under-21s. Mubama was born in the Newham district of east London and joined local side West Ham United's academy aged eight. He signed his first professional contract with West Ham in October 2021 and made his first-team debut in November 2022. Mubama scored his first competitive senior goal in March 2023 and was the tournament's top scorer as West Ham won the FA Youth Cup in April 2023. He joined Manchester City in June 2024 after failing to agree personal terms on a new contract with West Ham. Mubama made his first-team debut for City in January last year and scored in an 8-0 FA Cup third-round win over Salford City. He also made an appearance in the Premier League, playing half an hour as a substitute against Ipswich Town later that month. The 6ft striker looks to be a classic target man and has impressed with his physical presence and ability to link the play. He has been given the instruction to play the width of the penalty area and has shown a willingness to get into the box.
